How to Create a New Project in Astravue


Creating a new Project in Astravue helps you track work, assign tasks, and collaborate with your team efficiently. Follow this quick guide to set up your Project inside the right Space.

Step 1: Select the Space

From the sidebar, click the Space where you want your Project to live.
Then click “New Project.”

Step 2: Fill in Project Details

On the Project creation screen, complete the following fields:

1. Project Name & Description

Enter a clear project name and a short description to help your team understand the purpose of the project.

2. Set Permissions (Public or Private)

Choose whether the Project should be Public (visible to Space members) or Private (restricted to selected members).


3. Add Members

Select the team members who will work on this Project.
You can also update this later from the Project settings.

4. Choose Timeline

Set the Project start and end dates to help track progress and deadlines.

5. Select Task Status Template

Pick the status workflow this Project will follow.
This helps standardize how tasks move from start to finish.

6. Associate a Customer (Optional)

If the Project is linked to a client, choose the customer from the list.

7. Attach Files (Optional)

Upload any reference documents directly from the Project creation screen.


Step 3: Create Your Project

Once everything is filled in, click “Create Project.”

Your new Project will now appear under the selected Space, ready for task planning and execution.
