Operational hours

Operational hours

Does turning off Operational Hours affect existing tasks?

Yes. Task duration and date calculations always follow whatever calendar is currently active. If Operational Hours is off, every calendar day counts as a working day.

Can different days of the week have different hours?

Yes. Each day is configured individually, so a team that runs shorter hours on Fridays or different hours across days is not forced into a single schedule.

What is the difference between Standard hours and Round the clock?

Standard hours defines a specific start and end time each working day, for example 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Round the clock treats the full 24 hours of a working day as available, for teams or services that operate continuously.

Does this account for public holidays?

Non-working days you mark in your calendar, including recurring days off and holidays, are excluded from all task duration and date calculations the same way weekends are.

Where does Operational Hours apply?

It applies instance-wide, meaning every project and task in your workspace calculates dates against the same working calendar unless your plan supports per-team overrides.
