In Astravue, you can expand your priority scale to better categorize the urgency of your tasks.
While the default is often set to three levels, you can increase this to four or more to allow for more granular control.
Steps to Increase Priority Levels
Adjust Your View: Navigate to your task board or list and change the Group By option from Status to Priority. This will display your current priority columns side-by-side
2. Add New Levels: Look for the Add New Priority button (typically located to the right of your existing priority columns in Kanban and at the bottom in List View).
3. Define and Order: Create your two additional levels (e.g., "Critical" or "Low"). You can drag and drop these columns to reorder them into a logical 1–5 scale.
- Global Impact: Priority settings are universal across the entire organization space. Changes made here will reflect in all projects for all users.
- Renaming vs. Deleting: Default priorities can be renamed to better fit your workflow, but they cannot be deleted. This ensures system stability for existing tasks.
- Visibility: If you don't see the option to add priorities, ensure you have the necessary administrative permissions for your org space.
